Hm, watched Polar Express last night and though zhen was very tired, I managed to convince her to go TCC with me. While waiting for a table, came across Martha Stewart's Living-the American guru on entertaining. Started being interested in the recipes and decorations shown in the magazine...

Finally we were led to our table. Had an Italian raspberry float which I commented tasted like cough mixture. Thank God there was vanilla ice-cream in it which made it more palatable. Zhen had espresso which she commented was really a small cuppa. Dessert was TIRAMISU! There was also raspberry coulis drizzled around the tiramisu accompanied by pistachio biscotti. Yummy..I even took a picture of it. ;)

Zhen asked me 1 question: do you feel very xin fu when you eat cake? I said yes. There's no need to give me the entire cake but just buying me 1 slice and sitting at the cafe as I savour it, makes me feel very blessed. Weird huh? This must be the only way the love language of giving gifts applies to me. Otherwise most of the time, words of affirmation rank high on my list instead.
